Auf Grund ihrer besonders harmonischen Zusammenstellung der Noten ist sie gerade für Einsteiger gut geeignet. Mit ihnen lässt es sich von ruhig und meditativ über melancholisch bis hin zu kraftvoll und fröhlich alles variationsreich spielen.<br><br>Auch wenn diese Stimmung sehr gut sentimental klingen kann, kann man ihr durchaus fröhliche Klangbilder erzeugen. So ergibt sich z.B. auf dem zweiten und dritten Ton jeweils ein Dreiklang in Dur. Sei dir nur bewusst, dass der zweite und dritte Ton gleichzeitig gespielt reiben wird, diese Spannung kannst du natürlich auch bewusst einsetzen um Würze in dein Spiel zu bringen um nachher die Entspannung stärker wirken zu lassen. </p> <p>Diese Stimmung ist einer der ersten siebentönigen Stimmungen die gebaut wurden und ist durch einige Videos im Internet sehr bekannt geworden.<br><br></p> <p><strong>Herkunft und Musiktheoretisches zur Kurd Stimmung:</strong></p> <p><em>Kurd</em> übernimmt den Namen des arabisch / türkischen Maqams Kurd. Mit diesem Maqam teilt sich diese Tonauswahl auch die Anordnung der Töne wenn man davon ausgeht, dass das tonales Zentrum auf dem ersten Ton im Kreis liegt. So entsteht der vollständige Modus Phrygisch, der sich durch einen Halbtonschritt (Semitone) vom Grundton zum zweiten Ton der Skala auszeichnet und für den mysteriösen Sound der Scale verantwortlich ist.</p> <p>Es bleibt allerdings eine Ambivalenz vorhanden, da das DING eine Quinte unter dem ersten Ton liegt und somit wie ein zweites tonales Zentrum auftritt, was den Modus in Äolisch (natürliches Moll) wechseln lässt. Je nach Spielweise lässt sich so zwischen natürlichem Moll und Phrygischem Klangcharakter wechseln. Mit <em>Kurd</em> lässt es sich von ruhig und meditativ über melancholisch bis hin zu kraftvoll und fröhlich alles variationsreich spielen.</p> <p><em>Kurd</em> teilt sich mit anderen Mollvariationen (vgl. Celtic Minor/ Integral) den Sprung von einer Quinte vom DING zum ersten Ton. Von dieser fünften Stufe, wenn man davon ausgeht, dass das tonale Zentrum das DING ist, verfügt man über alle Tonschritte einer natürlichen Molltonleiter (äolisch). Besonders ist bei Kurd der Halbtonschritt (Semitone) zwischen erstem und zweitem Ton. Dieser Schritt ist auch bei gleichnamigem Maqam Kurd (arabisches oder türkisches Tonleitersystem) vorhanden (vgl. Semai Kurd), aber auch bei dem phrygischen Modus.
